Lead Gove...
Hey Ken...if this position is still open I would like to tell you about a unique. interviewing and search process that I'm doing that might work in combination with your other efforts. Hint: similar to Donald Trumps Apprentice Program
Good afternoon everyone. I will be picking up a new, exclusive VP Sales search next week and I am looking for a relevant job spec to complement the description that I currently have on file.
This is a $300k position (first year total compensation...
I am an alum of USD ('92, Business Econ) and a San Diego native with nearly 10 years of executive search experience. My primary focus has been accounting, finance, tax and audit and I have conducted a number of searches in other disciplines including HR, Board level, CEO, VP Sales, COO, and General Management.
My approach to executive recruiting is quite different from most in that I take a holistic approach to each search I accept. Rather than focusing solely on "making the placement", my goal is to assist each client with the development of a compelling "Employee Value Proposition" by which to position their organization as an Employer of Choice in their target market.
Larry,
Thanks for the note. I sent you an email yesterday with a candidate referral and have been mentioning your firm's name to a number of colleagues. Things are going very well with me as I just started the new firm 2 months ago. It has been very busy and it is nice to know that in 10 years of search, I have built some great relationships which have evolved into clients! I am working a ton of hours trying to get everything up and running but working 70 hours/week for yourself does not have the same sting as doing it for someone else!! I hope all is well with you and I look forward to catching up at a networking event.
Take care,
Ken
Simon,
Thanks. I checked it out and it is always good to know a little more about the folks you are interacting with :) If I can find any "free time" (unlikely any time soon unfortunately), I will try to put something together.
