EXPERIENCE:
02/07 – Pres. Sr. SAP/IT/Engineering Recruiter at Goodrich Aerostructures (through Kenexa) – San Diego
Was initially hired as a Senior Onsite SAP Recruiter at Goodrich (a Fortune 500 Aerospace company); I was tasked with SAP staffing associated with a massive (and global) SAP implementation (in which Goodrich will be expanding their SAP user base from 1K to over 10K users globally). These were all perm/full time positions that I filled without any assistance from third party vendors. Coordinated job fairs and several highly successful “meet and greet” events that generated additional senior SAP candidates in an extremely tight market. SAP functional disciplines included FICO, MM, SD, SRM, QM, CRM, Procurement, EH&S, Testing, Master Data and BW (among others). In addition to SAP staffing, I was involved in a wide range of IT, Engineering, Finance and Accounting requirements. I received accolades from the President of Kenexa, as well as the HR Director at Goodrich’s corporate office in Charlotte for my efforts in staffing multiple senior SAP positions for the CCC (Core Competency Center) group in San Diego. I have also supported a wide range of engineering roles for the Chula Vista and Mexicali (Mexico) facilities, including Manufacturing Team Leads, Weights Engineers, Reliability and Safety Engineers, Quality Engineers/Team Leads, Materials & Processing Engineers and various Engineering Managers.
04/05 – 01/07 Senior IT Recruiter – Kineticom, Inc. – San Diego
Was responsible for identifying and placing a wide range of IT and emerging technology candidates, with disciplines in SAP, Cognos, Oracle 11i, Microsoft .NET, etc. Accounts included Barclay’s Global Investors, LPL Financial, Packet Video, CIBER, Sprint, T-Mobile, Kyocera and NextWave. Candidates were placed in both contract and permanent roles throughout the United States. Provided extensive training and mentoring to junior recruiters on a daily basis, and helped them understand the nuances and psychology associated with successful recruiting.
06/02 – 03/05 Senior Recruiter – Option One (Allegis Group, Inc.) – San Diego
Contributed $577,000 in profit (spread) for Fiscal Year 2003. Recruited for several major accounts, including Washington Mutual Mortgage, Sony Online Entertainment, Accredited Home Lenders, AMN Healthcare, SAIC (Science Applications International Corporation) and Medimpact. Provide training and mentoring to junior personnel; managed entire recruiting cycle, including candidate generation, screening, interviews, referencing and background checks. Maintained daily interaction with existing clients and employees. Managed over 125 employees at one time (working at 20 client sites throughout the San Diego area).
02/99 – 02/02 Senior IT Recruiter – EDP Contract Services (TAC Worldwide)
Was responsible for extensive IT placements throughout the Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego areas. Placed a wide variety of Information Technology professionals, from Help Desk/Desktop Support personnel to Senior Oracle Developers, Programmers, Project Managers and PeopleSoft Developers. Major accounts included Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Compaq, CSC, County of Los Angeles, City of San Diego, SAIC, SPAWAR and Hewlett Packard. Maintained constant interaction with a wide range of clients and contractors, including senior hiring managers and H1 visa representatives. Provided training and office supervision when needed.
07/98 – 01/99 Staffing/Branch Manager – CEO Management, Inc. – San Diego
Recruited, interviewed/processed and placed qualified research assistants at a major marketing firm in San Diego, CA. Was responsible for all aspects of office management, including payroll, training, inventory control, correspondence, contract negotiations, etc.
12/97 – 05/98 Various contract recruiting assignments, including Technical Recruiter (Computerland) and Human Resources Representative (Onsite at Intuit)
